One of my favorite places in Berkeley to grab food. This spot is always fast, delicious and reasonably priced! The service is great and they're always super patient. The seating is limited, however I usually see people order to go.

I always grab an al pastor burrito to go. Their servings are huge and I can split that into 2 meals. The meat is nicely seasoned and isn't dry. The meat is always juicy, which makes the burrito even better. They aren't cheap with their fillings, so it ends up being a hefty burrito. They also ask if you want any carrots/limes/sides too!

Whenever I crave horchata, I also make sure to grab one here. It's a large cup for a good price. The cinnamon flavor is strong and the drink has the perfect sweetness!

TLDR: good tacos and burrito. quesadilla was meh. Haven't tried any seafood here yet.

Came here on a Friday night and there was a 10 minute line. Unfortunately they do not sell tripita here anymore even though it's on the menu.. I specifically wanted the tripita but I guess it isn't popular.

Got buche, pastor, cabeza, and suadero tacos with carnitas quesadilla and a strawberry horchata. LOVED the buche, suadero was eh, quesadilla wasn't very good.

The tacos are slightly pricer than what I am used to (coming from LA), but they are slightly bigger than the LA ones so its not too bad in price. They are generous with their meat, but I don't like how they put on the onions and salsa for you...

But overall, I really liked the tacos (and I had a bite of my friend's pastor burrito and that was good too) so this spot will probably become a regular for me. Also apparently taco tuesday is buy 4 get one free so that makes the pricetage very reasonable!

An East Bay, East O classic now transported right by the Cal campus. Who has ever argued that this was a bad idea? No one.

No more words are needed than to know it's a no frills spot to get an affordable taqueria fix with mad accolades. If you don't know, now you know. Boom!

Delicious and affordable tacos! I especially loved the pickled veggies they came with. But be warned, some of the tacos pack a serious spice punch. I can handle most spicy foods moderately well, but one of the sauces was too much for me. I wish they had noted that on the menu or warned us before ordering.

The place is small, with a dozen or so counter seats for dining in. Friendly and relatively fast service.
    I'd definitely come again!

This is my favorite Mexican joint around UC Berkeley. They have almost every type of taco you can think of: lengua, cabeza, al pastor.....the list goes. The tacos pack a whopping punch of flavor. The meat is juicy and the respective sauces pair well with meat. The tortillas were solid and didn't tear but weren't too thick to the point where it felt like a burden to eat. On the flipside, the prices were dramatically higher than what I was used to in Southern California. In Santa Ana, I'd be able to get tacos for $0.50-$1. While at Tacos Sinoloa, they ran me at least $2.50. Granted they did have more put into them than normal street tacos, it is a significant difference. Moving onto the sides, the peppers were on point but the beets fell far short. They were dry and lacked the I usually expect. But overall they make great tacos so come give it a try!
